He Knows When You’re Awake (We Wish You a Macabre Christmas)
I wrote this one back in December of 2015, and thought I'd revise it a bit and make the video even creepier. Remember that Santa is ALWAYS watching.
Gloomy Old Saint Nick - Whimsically Macabre
A jazzy little ditty about how it's ok for St. Nick not to be jolly all the time. Sheet music for this piece is free today, December 7th: https://pianopronto.com/composers-community/stacy-fahrion/stacy-fahrion-gloomy-old-saint-nick/
FREE Sheet Music! Silent Night, arranged by Stacy Fahrion
Sheet music for this arrangement is free today, November 30th: https://pianopronto.com/composers-community/stacy-fahrion/stacy-fahrion-silent-night/ I intended to write an off-kilter version of Silent Night, but the piece didn’t want to be creepy or clever, so I tried to write the most sincerely beautiful version of Silent Night I could. It has a few minor reharmonizations and crunchy dissonances. It's in C Major. I don't know who I am any more. I hope it brings you a moment of peace and comfort during difficult times.
O Spider Tree - Whimsically Macabre Holiday Solo
O Spider Tree is a jazzy, minor, and dissonant "derangement" of O Christmas Tree.
Silent Slinky
Silent Slinky steals a motive from Arnold Schoenberg’s atonal hit song cycle from 1912, Pierrot Lunaire. It goes on with a corrupted version of "Silent Night," menacing snippets of "I’ll Be Home for Christmas," and the Slinky commercial
jingle. It’s fun for a girl or a boy!
